“There are moments, Jeeves, when one asks oneself, ‘Do trousers matter?'”
“The mood will pass, sir.”

Today’s Writing Group prompt: If you had to (or could!) wear the same thing every single day, what would you want it to be?
I’m not a girl who loves stalking around in heels, though I love shoes, and I hate the days when I have to wear suits for my job (I . . . may be in the wrong line of work). I see girls in D.C. every day who are super put together and fashionable, and I envy them, but I accept that I’ll never be one of them. Instead, I’m a big, big fan of great-fitting jeans with a short-sleeved t-shirt over a long-sleeved t-shirt. So comfy.

I feel so, so not myself when I have to wear a suit.
It makes me super uncomfortable. Sometimes I even bring a change of clothes so that I don’t have to wear it all day.
Yea I see those women in DC when I’m there. Especially on the hill. Dressed in black with black spike heels. Are they crazy? I wear my comfy flats and don’t care what I look like as long as they listen to my story. We’ll be back there this May…love DC, but would never dress like that!
Will you have a free bit to get lunch again when you’re here? I’d love to see you!
Maybe…husband and I are staying (we think) the rest of the week to do some tourist stuff….Usually during the actual conference we have no time to breath…but we might be able to meet you for lunch on Wed or Thurs…possibly Friday…we’ll see…..
OK, well let me know! Hopefully we can work something out.
