In this instance she is amazing…but her topic is someone she feels passionate about and the very real scary things that have happened and will happen. She’s using this as a place to put her fear, and rightfully so. She’s letting it out.
You have the same ability and have, in fact, written just as well; when you talk about the events in your life that have had huge effects on you, when you talk about your family, when you talk about your fears.
